Two of the strongest challengers to end the Chiefs' reign in the AFC will collide on Sunday Night Football when the Baltimore Ravens host the Buffalo Bills at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The Bills (3-0) have been dominant through their first three games and are looking for the franchise's first 4-0 start since 2020. Meanwhile the Ravens (1-2) are coming off their first win of the season, a 28-25 victory over the Cowboys. Baltimore is a 2.5-point favorite in the latest Ravens vs. Bills odds, while the over/under is 46.5. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET.

Both teams entered the season carrying the weight of expectations. In the offseason, Baltimore (+450) and Buffalo (+600) were the second and third favorites, respectively, to win the AFC, behind only the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs (+325). Through three weeks of the season, little has changed. Kansas City (+240) remains the favorite, ahead of Buffalo (+400) and Baltimore and Houston (both +700).

On Sunday, quarterbacks Lamar Jackson of Baltimore and Josh Allen of Buffalo will command the attention. They are both 6-1 as starting quarterbacks in their careers on Sunday Night Football, which is tied for the best record among quarterbacks with at least five starts since 2000. 

The reigning NFL MVP, Jackson remains one of the most dangerous dual-threat weapons in the league. While his passing numbers through three games are on track to match last year's full-season stats, he is having his best rushing season ever. Through three games he has 254 rushing yards, which is the most rushing yards by a quarterback through three games in NFL history.

Jackson and running back Derrick Henry give the Ravens a devastating rushing attack. Henry, who signed with Baltimore in the offseason, is coming off a game in which he rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns (on 25 carries) in a 28-25 victory over the Cowboys. Behind Jackson and Henry, Baltimore is averaging 403.3 total yards per game, which leads the NFL, and 203.3 rushing yards per game, which ranks second. The Ravens also lead the NFL in yards per rush (5.9).

On the other sideline, Allen is playing as if he's going to take Jackson's MVP trophy. The running-and-passing weapon leads the league in touchdown-to-interception ratio (7-to-1) and passer rating (133.7) and ranks second in completion percentage (75.0).

So far this season he has avoided the big mistake. He has gone back-to-back starts without a turnover for the first time since Weeks 15-16 in 2020. He is coming off a game in which he threw for 263 yards and four touchdowns, earned a passer rating of 142.1 and ran for 44 yards on six carries.

Led by Allen, the Bills lead the NFL in scoring offense (37.3 points per game). They also have outscored opponents by 64 points, which is the second biggest point differential through three games in team history, behind only the 1992 team.
